Kieninger Musical Mantel Clock

A rare Kieninger mantel clock with a solid brass case with beveled glass panels, polished walnut burl, ebonised columns with solid brass column caps, front and rear doors and a small key drawer in the base.

 

The dial with Roman numerals and secondary dials for seconds, day of the week, calendar month, moon phase, a hand showing day of the month and Breguet-style hands.

 

The three train quarter chiming solid brass movement gives a choice of three melodies (Westminster, St. Michaels and Whittington) and strikes the hours on a set of rods.

The chimes automatically turn off between 11:00pm and 06:00am.
