A rare Tiffany Black Chinoiserie mantle clock of large proportions, early 20th century. The enameled dial inscribed 'Tiffany & Co France'. The brass bezel surrounded by a gilt sunburst pattern.  The case with a striped Pagoda top and faux bamboo with gilt highlights. The front of the case decorated with a garden scene with figures, building, trees and Ho Ho bird.

The two train movement marked Tiffany, Made in France, sounds the hours and half hours on a gong.

 

This clock is in beautiful condition with only minor wear to the case consistent with age. The movement has been stripped and cleaned and keeps excellent time.
