Italian Porcelain Temple Lion By Ronzan Ceramics

A high glaze white porcelain Temple lion with paw on cub. Marked to base "1463 Made In Italy, Ronzan".

 

Giovanni Ronzan and his brothers, Antoni and Giuseppe, founded the Ronzan Ceramiche Artistiche factory in 1939 shortly after he had left his job as chief painter and ceramic modeller at the Lenci factory.
