An attractive red Chinoiserie bracket clock, circa 1860. The Georgian style case profusely decorated in relief with garden scenes, figures, pagodas and floral motifs, the top corners with 4 brass orbes surmounted by a brass pineapple finial, on a stepped base with brass ogee feet. The rear door with glazed panel with lock/key.
The white painted dial with roman numerals, inscribes 'E Ayers Blyburghgate St, Beccles' and with a stepped brass bezel.
Fitted with a brass single fusee English movement.
The clock comes complete with its original key and pendulum
Condition The movement has been fully serviced and keeps excellent time. The case in good condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
