Meissen Cupid Blacksmith Forging a heart


Meissen Porcelain figure of Cupid forging a heart on a blacksmiths anvil which rests on a block of tree stump.  The barefooted figure wearing a green cap and dressed in a brown leather smock, mounted on a circular marbled base with gilt highlights, model number L114 designed by Heinrich Schwabe, circa 1877.


Meissen underglaze blue crossed swords mark to base.

Condition: In mint condition, no cracks, chips, repairs or rubbing.
